Norse becomes Suffolk Chamber Patron

March 2014

Norse’s Suffolk based companies, Suffolk Norse, Suffolk Coastal Services and Waveney Norse, have become joint Patrons of the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.

“Norse has one of the largest workforces in Suffolk, and our subsidiaries in the county are a part of the everyday fabric of its communities, touching the daily lives of residents and businesses across the county,” said Mark Emms Managing Director of two of the companies.

“As such we have a real interest all the issues that affect not only our companies, but also our staff, customers and suppliers in Suffolk,” he added.

Norse has always been keen to play a role in its wider business communities, supporting the local supply chain, developing the skills market and taking part in discussions and activities that build commercial relationships.

The companies will also be contributing to events, workshops and networking opportunities that the Chamber organises within the county.

“Becoming a Patron of the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce will enable us to be more involved in the county’s wellbeing, to use our resources and influence in support of the vision that the Chamber has for local business and the county’s infrastructure, and to be proactive in ensuring the sustainability of profitable growth for the benefit of the whole region,” Mark Emms concluded.

“We are delighted to welcome Norse as a Patron of the Chamber, said John Dugmore, Chief Executive of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce. “They play such an important role in the fabric of our county and its economy by providing secure jobs, working closely with local suppliers and businesses, championing skills and training and supporting charitable causes. We are very much looking forward to working together in the future.”
