Waveney Norse and Suffolk Coastal Services Managing Director Mark Emms presented the ‘Significant Contribution to Education in Suffolk’ award at the recent annual, Suffolk County Council ‘Raising the Bar’ Awards.
This award, also sponsored by Norse, is for any individual or establishment that has made an excellent contribution to education in Suffolk, was presented to Roger Fern of Halifax Primary School.
“This is a very well deserved award, recognising Roger’s extensive contributions to the county’s education over many years,” Mark commented. “Norse is delighted to be supporting education in Suffolk.”
The awards form part of Suffolk County Council’s drive to improve educational standards in the county. By identifying and highlighting best practice the organisers aim to spread a culture of excellence and aspiration in the county.
